This section provides some review suggestions that will help you determine how well you have familiarized yourself with Modeler's design environment and tools. We recommend that you sign up for the VIDI mail list if you haven't done so yet and let us know how useful these tutorials were for you and to send us suggestions for improving them.

• Create 6 objects using each of the following 3D modeling tools: Lathe, Extrude, Skin/Loft, Sweep, Bevel Extrude with Letters and Path Extrude.

• Organize the 6 objects into an interesting design.

• In the Shaded View Window, turn on shaded view and set up your lights.

• Once you have an interesting composition in the shaded view window, click the Camera button next to the Shaded View Button to take a picture of the scene. Name it and save this PICT file on your disk.

• Save the model file also.
