VIDI, a pioneer of 3D on the Macintosh, is closing its run with 3D on Apple computers and is discontinuing support and distribution of Presenter 3D. While there has been a significant downturn in the use of 3D on the Macintosh, I see great hope for the future. Apple is starting to market aggressively, has a powerful solution in the G3 with an even more powerful G4 to come, and has come out with support for OpenGL.
While VIDI will not be there to participate in the future of 3D on the Macintosh, I am going to keep up efforts to promote 3D on the Macintosh. Check the Newsletter and 3Djoy sections for more information.
