Explore Shading

One of the most dramatic directional sound effects that occurs in real life is the Doppler effect (the frequency of sound attached to, or generated by a fast-moving object, changes as the sound/object approaches and passes an observer). To record the appropriate effect without extraneous sound is expensive and time consuming. Presenter's Virtual Directional Microphones make it easy to produce this effect without the need for audio recording equipment. To dramatically improve an artist's productivity, this ground-breaking improvement in shader technology. Explore allows the artist to make adjustments to the shading parameters in real-time. This capability enables you to instantly see the effect of your changes on the final rendered surface.

QuickTime VR is Apple's exciting new technology that simulates 3D environments. Presenter's Digital SoundStage environment provides you with the virtual stage, lighting, sound recording, and virtual QTVR cameras for the creation of a QTVR object scene. No photographic equipment or any other programs or utilities are required.
