| 3Djoy is provided as a special gift to those who join the
Mac 3D Team by
making a donation to the efflort to uprade the use and crdibility of 3D on the Macintosh
The name 3Djoy was selected because of our effort to uplift 3D on the Macintosh and
in honor of Eric Popejoy, who has been my partner since 1982 and who is the genius
behind the powerful 3D modeling and animator plug-in technology to be released. Included
as part of this technology is an open "plug-in"
structure that allows anyone with programming expertise
to develop plug-in modules that add motion and effects capabilities and to enhace
render options and capabilities by plugging third party render engines to the software. For information on becoming a member of the Mac 3D Team and getting the 3DJoy CD, follow the prcedure outlined on the CD Page. All materials, either obtained on the CD or downloaded, will be presented on an "as is" basis; there will be no technical support or returns; and certain license requirements will apply. Support on a fee basis will be considered if there is sufficient demand for it.
