With the explosion of interest in the exploration of Mars, Bob used Modeler and Presenter to model the types of habitats and vehicles that will be used in exploring the surface of Mars ten years from now. He used them to create simulations showing how these vehicles and habitats will be used in the exploration of Mars. The Virtual Voyage To Mars page shows excerpts from Towards:MARS, a 7 minute animation he created that shows the current Manned Mars Reference Mission for NASA. This presentation of NASA's mission to Mars has been shown on local and national news and on a special Discovery Channel presentation. This virtual trip to Mars is just the beginning.
