Based on his reputation as the premier aerospace artist and designer in the field of Strategic Visualization for NASA and Dreamworks, Popular Science commissioned Bob Sauls to design a entire series of cover and article art for Popular covering the future of aerospace products and technology. Using the 3D Modeler and Presenter, Bob designed the cover and article graphics for articles like TOP SECRET INVISIBLE AIRCRAFT which detailed daytime stealth technologies to be used in future Fighters, MICRO SPY PLANES on designing the world's smallest aircraft for use in surveillance, ROCKET PLANES describing the passenger craft to be used for day trips to space, and CHOPPER! describing helicopter enhancements that provide new power for search and rescue missions.
