#3 Fire

Fire uses a Quick Time map as an RGB map and Transparency Map. The Black parts of the map will be made transparent while the white will be opaque, everything which is a color will be treated as it's grayscale equivalent and will be semi-transparent.

The Fire map was made with a series of Photoshop images composited with After Effects.

 Object Attributes:

Drag your RGB/Transparency map into the mapping line of the Object attributes.

Mapping Properties:

Set your properties so that map is fixed on the object the way you want it.

 Map Settings:

Use the settings shown in the Diagram.

The glow will add to the lighting effect of the flame
