How To

use Presenter 3D for Internet graphics and movies

JPEG

This format is recommended for photographic-quality still images. The advantages of JPEG are excellent reproduction and compression. For complex images, a JPEG format file can be downloaded much faster that a GIF, with better color quality. Most Presenter 3D still images should be encoded in JPEG format.

Although Presenter 3D lists JPEG as a QuickTime compression choice, this format will not work on the World Wide Web. Instead, a separate application must be used for the conversion.

Photoshop can convert PICT files to JPEG format with the "Save As" command. Medium compression is usually a good choice. Several other applications will get the job done too.

JPEGs can be used as a single foreground image, or as tiled background images.
