The Petition Statement
We the undersigned strongly support the
Pixar RenderMan system as part of Apple's next generation of
operating systems. We believe the RenderMan system
integrated with the "Rhapsody" operating system for
Macintosh will be the system of choice for many graphic design
professionals, engineers, students, hobbyists and other
3-D graphics artists and users. We urge Apple Computer, NeXT and Pixar to
work together to make RenderMan a standard feature in the
Mac OS.
